|
|
So i'm buying a 77 westy from my mother in law. My father in law passed away recently and she needs the money. I know VW's, but i don't have a clue about most of the items in this Westy, lol...
Is there a place someone could direct me to explain things, like how to use your spare battery, or where everything is and what it all does inside the camper?
Super newbish questions...I know. I checked the sticky section but didn't really find too much of what i'm looking for. _________________ 73 Thing

Sheeee--it. I hope you paid her very well!! She looks very nice. I guess you know what to do, get a Bentley, fuel lines, etc? My personal advice- Waxoil it now. And I mean - NOW. _________________ '72 Elm Green Deluxe |

X2, looks like one hell of a score at any price!, fuel lines, Waxoil and rubbing compound looks like all it needs, maybe some fresh (properly rated) tires and a brake flush as well. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

This Westy was obviously vacuum packed with a nitrogen blanket after each use.
I cannot believe how fresh that bus looks. The slider details remind of some showroom gem. Can't recall seeing a latch that clean.
