Just like the original, but you may have to cut a bigger hole and drill more screw holes.

Hey, you asked for opinions. Fine if you want to do it to your own bus but don't sell that shit to people telling them it's just like the original. Some people don't know better and they may not know your joking.

Your installation is at best OK. The cut in box is not designed to be sandwiched between its ears and structure. A handy box or masonry box would be a better choice. Your box does have a clamp so the cable is secured. Solid wire, NMB or romex should not be used were subjected to vibration. A fuse or breaker or ground fault interrupter is not a bad idea but should be part of the incoming service.

Looking at 3:36 in the video I don't see a clamp. Correct me if I'm wrong.

It shows the clamp screws at the beginning but not at 3:36 so you are correct.

Do you have a good recommendation?

Solid wire, NMB or romex should not be used were subjected to vibration.
I found it odd that Westfalia used Romex for their conversions. What would be your recommendation?

A fuse or breaker or ground fault interrupter is not a bad idea but should be part of the incoming service.
Would it be a good idea to use a GFI (ground fault interrupter) duplex plug in receptacle for the first plug in after the supply?

Thank you
Tcash

In my opinion:
Fuses protect wiring. GFCI's protect people. There may be one or both in the wiring coming to the camper, or there may not.

My '69 camper has an OG fuse box next to the 110V inlet/outlet. I would do any wiring hack the same way. If there is a fuse or circuit breaker in the incoming 110V supply it may be of a higher amperage than what I would want for protection inside my camper. Fuses are cheap.

Using a GFCI plug in receptacle for the first plug after the supply may, or may not, be overkill, but it is a good idea. I'd rather protect myself than depend on someone else.
