In this season of long dark nights and colorful Christmas lights I thought this looked pretty cool. Only downside is, trying to sleep it is too much light.

Please tell me that raspberry pi takes in the outside temperature, time, and turns on the electric blanket accordingly _________________ "Jo Ann" - '83.5 Westfalia EJ22e w/Peloquin |

Interesting setup (I like the use of dead space to store the solar charger), do you drive with this configuration or cover it with panels?
Also, is that a pair of scissors hanging between the 5v system converter and the raspberry pi?
Lastly, what are you using the raspberry pi for? _________________ 87 Syncro Westy EJ25 ("Tardis")

I drive like this because I like the bare stark sheet metal. Biggest downside is that in New Mexico it all collects a lot of dust. Having electronics tucked into nooks is also trouble when the sun hits the side at a low angle everything gets pretty hot.
The ‘scissors’ is a very long surgical tool for pulling bullets out of flesh. But I use it for tricky wiring through channels, etc.
The Raspberry Pi is a long distance WiFi client/repeater that connects to any AP in a list. It also runs a Python WSGI webapp, Pi-Hole ad blocker and a number of ham radio applications such as spectrum scanner. It runs off the 5v system that also powers the cameras and USB hub. _________________ Vanagon ’83 diesel AAZ w/Giles injection, 5spd 4.57R&P+TBD and a '78 diesel Rabbit |
