I have several other vehicles besides my ACVW (shocking but it's true) from my motorcycles to farm equipment. I have always found that forums can be a huge help when you're trying to find someone who has had that one little problem that it seem only you have (though logic will tell you that it just can't be true).
It can become mentally exhausting to wade through the ton of ads, popups and "bulletins" on some of these forums that slow down the scroll, cover the information you want to read and just generally make your visit to that forum less than helpful. I guess ad revenue is more important than actually trying to publish helpful information.
As I write this, I do see a flashing ad for Airhead parts, in the upper right hand corner of the page. That's it. When I search, it is concise. When I look at the results, there aren't several ads breaking up the page and covering the information I seek.
Thank you, Everett, and everyone involved who keep TheSamba free and clear and user-friendly for all of us! |

No pressure
Honestly the premium membership is one of the best values in terms of ROI. Thanks Everett.
And to those professionals and experienced contributors bailing many of us out situations. Thank you. No star needed. _________________ Keep on Busin'

I've posted it many times, but I'll repeat it. My old VWs simply would not be here and running if not for The Samba. Classifieds, advice, tech docs, referrals... all these things made the difference for me.
And I agree, the lack of blaring, intrusive ads is a welcome respite from what the rest of the internet has become.
Well managed by the owners and their mods.
And it has Real Intelligence, not AI.
THE BEST!
