Hi, i've got some floor repairs i need to do underneath my panel van and i'd like to build a rotisserie to make it easier to work on and eventually paint the underside. does any one have plans available by any chance? wondering what i should hook up to... the shell will be completely naked.
thx
Martin

No way, no how, would I have ever thought that up. Or if I did, I'd have dismissed it as nuts. But your result is pretty damn awesome!

Ok, that's just awesome. Wish I would have had that when building my van. Very smart.

Absolutely fabulous. Well engineered and executed. Love the support points. Very ingenious. The key is getting the radius at the right points regarding the weight so it never gets out of balance and just flops over on its own after getting it started. Control the whole way. Great job.

Not as well engineered, but this type of roll over is common in boat building, even in boats 75' long. These guys didn't get it quite right and needed a beer party gang to get it started and then keep it from going too fast and far.

Unfrickenbelievable!! I see a business opportunity for you. Seriously. If you charge half of what a pro body shop does, I can see your client list exceeding your capacity.

And he has a portable steam engine he can plop in when he wants to drive. Have to keep the tail pipes as a tong rest. Tucked this photo away for future grins.
