Most excellent suggestion, was a big fan of the Chaparral when young in the 60's and is a big part of my inspiration.
But I have a connection with my daughter through this 73 number _________________

I like that it is rather obscure.
I had never heard of one before.
I had wanted a Bradley gt1 wayyyy back when.
It is a lot like one in general construction of the body..... simple and cheap.
Nothing should ever drag the ground..... but as close as possible much like a race car.
A lot of body drop on top of the standard lowering stuff.
Here you can see the about normal place the rear torsion woul be..... but now moved considerably up and back. Significant amount of body drop.
The front is body dropped some... somewhere around an inch, but the significant amount of front drop is spindles, adjusters and pie cut (needed the castor anyway)
The front is widened at the fender arches.
And the back is widened through the rear deck/hood.

Not much done lately.
Just started back on it recently.
Working on windshield and it's frame.
Had to cut it up and fiberglass it back together so it fits the windshield better.
No pics, but not much longer and the windshield assembly will be on it.
Nearly down to only the rear hood assembly yet to go.
The big pieces of the hood are made, still gotta figure out what all I am gonna do on the rear. _________________

Windshield frame in primer.
Won't be long now and it will have a windshield.

Well, it's certainty getting closer to completion.
I was on the fence regarding the windshield. But it has transformed the image of the car.
When will it be road worthy? I look forward to the day you have a driving video posted.
Have fun! _________________ I have learned over the years.

Yeah.... it really screams a short wrap around plexi wind deflector.
But to be street legal here it has to have a dot glass windshield and wipers.
So this is it., besides I made the front hoop this high and fitted to this.
Std ghia windshield btw. Looks large on this tiny car.
It is a bolt on..... so maybe an alternate option that ain't so street legal. _________________
