Total turd.
The panel went for almost $20k, pretty good deal for the buyer I think.

I think that panel was a fair deal for the buyer.

My son wanted me to bid on that panel.... until he saw the 13 window that posted yesterday. Looks like an honest seller. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1965-volkswagen-bus-43/

I wouldn't be trying to put out fires with that Bus, but I would collect it if I had the space and money. That's museum level complete.

The Box with the Letter: "TS-Werkzeuge"?

maybe Tragkraft Spritze Werkzeuge, means tools for the mobile Pump.

The wood Box look like the way they build in the WW2 and later Military use.

As noted off topic, did not sell at $53k. An unusual case where exotic and rare don't necessarily equate to desirability, at least at that price point, where price vs. practicality have a big gap. I'm sure there's a museum somewhere that needs that Bus though.

This bus is both a lot of bus for the money, and a lot of money for the bus. Firetrucks and ambulances are not people friendly cars, so they have a fairly limited market. They do tend to among the nicest condition buses out there since they were usually well cared for and not driven much.
