Coil wires

My coil wires and connections have seen much better days.
I am going to make up some new ones.
What gage / strand is recommended?

Schematic calls for 1.5 MM for the positive coil wire (Circuit 15). That translates to 14GA.

Coil to Reverse switch also 1.5MM. In fact, entire reverse circuit is 1.5MM.

Coil to Choke and Pilot Jet is a .5MM (24GA) I don't see any reason not to use the 1.5MM (14GA)
