If you are coming from a half dead 1600 to a freshly rebuilt 1600 you will notice, that you have enough power for little car even with the stock motor.

I remember going 75 - 80 for extended periods in mine with a stock Fi motor of unknown mileage. And I never had any trouble even at high altitude.
