For your dinning and slam dancing pleasure. My 70 DC took the better part of 3 years. At this point Im keeping it local around town to break in the motor/trans, locate the missing/loose nuts & bolts and identify any potential electrical issues/concerns. Im looking to get it tightened up for the trip to Busses by the Bridge.
Thanks

Looks great!
Did you get all your paint and body work done locally? Or did you do it yourself? |

The tires are General Grabber AT 27X8.50R14LT. On Wednesday I installed my Gene Berg short throw shifter that I've had for a couple months, Im telling you that thing is SWEET, I feel like I'm driving sports car. This evening I installed a bigger front sway bar that I picked up a swap meet for 50$ complete, well see how that feels later.

Ah, 70, my preferred year, and my favourite colour. Was it originally Lotus White? Suspension-wise, did you switch out to discs? How about adding a brake booster? Lookin' good! _________________

Yes it was white when I picked it up, its got disk brakes up front no booster.
Thanks!!
slowly building up the confidence to take to AZ for the Busses by the bridge, Im cautiously optimistic. Anybody have ideas on mounting an external oil filter? Picts would be great. |

I'd figure out how to fit a booster before a filter. Your brakes will work much better and serve to protect your hard work. _________________

Bring it to me in San Diego and I can install a booster for you. I did two in 2023 and a few others before that. Send me a PM and I’ll put you in touch with some customers of mine. Disc brake without a booster are not reaching their potential. _________________ Lead Mechanic: San Diego Air and Space Museum
