The other day was driving with the windows down. I think my kiddo put his arm on the upper door edge and pushed the lock knob down, locking the doors.
And then I pulled mine up to unlock the doors for him, maybe as he was trying to open the door (not sure the exact sequence of events) but the long and short is, it seems to be jammed down/ locked.
I was able to keep it from continually cycling the locks but climbing under the dash and unplugging the wire harness.
Now, the best I can do is pull the knob up about halfway, but that isn't enough to open the door. I can almost feel the outside handle engage when I'm actively pulling up on the knob but not quite.
Ideas? Best I've come up with so far is grab the knob with some pliers and really crank on it, and immediately remove the door card if I get it open. _________________ Dave Cook
