Hi guys, im bad in need of a diagram showing all the important measurements in a bay, eg door diagonals, distance between sides etc. I can find lots of beetle diagrams, but none of the bay. Any help greatly appreciated.

Google a guy named 'Jan Willem van Rangelrooij' because it was his website. If you find him, and he may be the same guy who has a webpage today, maybe he still has copies of the data. If he does, please post a link for everyone else so maybe Everett can download them to TheSamba. The email address in the link won't be any good, and Archive.org does not have copies of the page BusDaddy linked.

These are official VW documentation at the time.
You can find these VW repair manuals "VW Reparaturleitfaden" short RLF (containing all vehicles from the VW era) as blue folders on different topics (sometimes several folders on one topic such in the early 1970s as 5 for body work RLF A plus addional technical notes for changes) There are more than 20 of these folders with thousands of pages.
or also popular at this time before computers are microfiches/micro film (therefore you need a projector to be able to read one of the pages of the greatly reduced size on the film (one book on one page), I have a big foldable MINOX suitcase reader type 32 689 for 220V or mobile 12/24V).
To get all of these manuals as original paper is expensive today - more than US$ 1000 - and you rarely get them with all the additions for the T2 at once.

I pm'd Everett to see if he can save the PDF here and post a link in technical etc., for everyone. This question does not come up often and my fear is that if the data is not saved, it is unlikely to survive much longer.
