Moving my 1974 412 on down the road because replacenent parts are too hard to find.
I bought a 72 tin top bus and the seller mentioned it needed a directional switch, I'm thinking no problem plenty of replacement parts for bus.
Then I find out 72 is a one year only directional switch, and none avaliable.
What are we using for replacements.
I'm not picking bus up until Monday, but already the damn thing is giving me problems

If you can't find a good working replacement the plastic switch guts can be purchased and new 3D printed parts swapped in. It's not easy but I've swapped parts a couple of times and have a working switch in my '72.
