Bulkhead panel set in bare Birch.
This is a copy of how westfalia paneled the bulkhead in pre-SO-42 campers with full bulkhead.
It is three pieces... each side plus a center box. The center box has metal trim around the top edge.
Shown is one for a 63-67 bus.
55- 62 is different. The later one is a little bigger to fit the bigger spare tire bump.
