The very popular, indestructible Interior panels made out of ABS plastic which never falls apart form the moisture in the air or the vinyl peels off from inside heat…might just out last your VW Bus if properly care for. Clean with plastic type cleaners like from a motorcycle shop / face shield plastic wax.
Can be painted with Krylon Fusion plastics spray paint:
First use the included test ABS scrap piece to practice on it.
Clean the ABS with rubbing alcohol to remove any mold releases and hand grease
Let them to fully dry (if you want the best paint job, then take them to a body shop for them to Bull Dog primer and paint them with flex additive paints)
Then spray them with Krylon Fusion plastic spray paint
Let them full dry before handling & installing them…..
Included are 1/8" black oxide sheet metal screws…but you will need to re-drill a 1/8" hole thru the ABS panels into your sheet metal behind the panels as they were random located drilled at the factory!

To answer this often asked question on my ABS Interior Panels fastener holes:
All my ABS panels are pre drilled with the mounting holes for the sheet metal screws or molly's fasteners which are included.
BUT every VW factory had different assembly line random drilling or stamping dies (these vehicles are +50 years old and they didn't have CNC or robotics back then...) with holes in slightly different locations and some holes may need minor massaging to line up. The holes are 1/4" and the molly heads are 1/2" so you have plenty of fudge room.
The splits Buses had random drill holes where ever the assemble line wanted to drill the holes. Mine mounting holes are professional space apart. Plus the panels cover up all those ugly old holes...
With most any parts for these old vehicles, some need some custom fitting. It is called being a mechanic.
