Believe this to be Beetle/Ghia 36 Horsepower muffler-two exhaust pipe openings-NewOldStock: Part Number 111 251 051 G Applicable from engine number 1 - 1 120 615 (August 1955) to 3 949 222 (sometime 1960). Unknown manufacture, possible Danish, weighs almost 15 pounds and is solid material. This muffler painted (silver) 16 years back (attending body/welding class at the time) in as I recall high temperature paint-don't recall how high the temp was to sustain the paint. Underneath was the normal gray primer. Welded a dimple on one side-wasn't a hole in muffler, just a dimple. Paint may or may not burn off, if does the original gray primer will then prevail. There are differences in these 36 hp mufflers, so some measurements for this one-right inside pipe is 45 MM's, Left is 85 MM's, distance between pre-heater pipe connections centered is 550 MM'S, all approximately. Flareless pipe connections. Very nice muffler. $160MailedLower48. USPSMO.
