Temperature Sensor (T2) DIY repl. for air cooled Price: $18.99 incl. s/h
|
Available NOW. For your aircooled, FI bus or van.
When we bought the last one from Van (Volks) Cafe and Peter said he was not going to re-order, we said "We gotta do something." So we did. These things are scarce, expensive and if yours fails, your vehicle won't run past a minute or runs like total crap. All it is is just a bolt with a resistor that varies resistance based upon temperature. But that bolt is a weird size and that component needs to have the right temperature/resistance relationship and is tough to find. Plus it is no cakewalk to figure out a way to stick that gizmo inside of that funny bolt.
Well, we've done the work and gotten all the parts for you, so your job is quick and much easier. You will still have the satisfaction of doing it yourself. Best of all, your engine will run right again for very little money. Yep - our '83 aircooled van passed CA smog again!
Comes with everything you need, including step-by-step instructions to walk you through the replacement procedure.
