GT gears have proven themselves in Porsche endurance racing over the past 18 years (normally lasting twice as long as OEM factory racing gears), and are the only aftermarket gears to have been assigned Porsche part numbers by Weissach.
Utilizing a modern Formula 1 race gear design, GT 1st/2nd gear teeth feature a prominent tip relief, which helps promote precise gear mesh and even wear pattern (see wear pattern photo). 3rd and 4th gears now have a modified street tooth design for quieter freeway operation, while maintaining GT reliability. Select gear ratios also available in straight-cut design (for Turbo, off-road, road-racing, & TDi applications).
In addition, all GT products (with the GT logo) carry a full satisfaction guarantee. If you are unhappy with any of our products for any reason, promptly inform us, and then remove and return those products to us within 90 days for a full refund or exchange (company policy since 2001).
