Geometry corrected 1.5 rockers. These are off the shelf sold as 1.4 Chinese ratio rockers with two upgrades. First off when I checked these they actually measured in at a 1.5 ratio, you might get a different ratio depending on your cam lift and the heads you use.
First, the mounting blocks have had .060" machined off the bottom to move the rocker assembly closer to the head to allow a correct 90 degree rocker angle relative to the valve at half lift. This will reduce pushing the valve sideways into the guide for improved guide wear. Depending on your running lift and the head casting using block shims may be needed to find the sweet spot.
Second, these rockers come with way too much side thrust play. I have included thrust shims the right thickness to get the side play just where it needs to be.
I am now stocking the 1.3 ratio rockers, works very well with Webcam 163 or one of the FK4x Engle's. In most cases there is no need to shave the blocks on the 1.3 rocker. The other handy use for the 1.3's is to dial back your lift for daily driver use and when you want max power run the 1.5's. The more valve lift you run the greater the need for shaved blocks. In most cases there is no need to shave the blocks up to .500" lift. $190 with the blocks shaved and $150 without. All rockers include the extra very necessary thrust shims and I can add the necessary lash caps for an extra $12 if you need them. Be careful, some of these rockers have been shipped without the bronze bushings, steel against steel is not a good idea with high spring pressure. Mine have the bronze bushings.
