Genuine Volkswagen of America/Germany: One (1) “Suggested Repair Times Volkswagen Type 2”. This is the later Baywindow Large format Repair Times style manual. Many changes incorporated to this style manual quite apart from the earlier types, a myriad maze. This one begins with the Delivery Inspection and Scheduled Maintenance for Model Year 1980 Vanagon. Includes Delivery Inspection/1,000 mile Maintenance , Diagnosis for applicable Model years via various different Supplement such as 2/77, 2/75 etc. and further broken down in some segments such as 1978 and earlier, 1974 and earlier, and then, up to Model Year 1974, up to 1977 Model year, from 1978 model year, etc. Too many new changes incorporated to delve into all them. Although this is Definitely not a Repair manual in any form of the imagination, neither is it a Parts manual, this version has many diagrams, so if one is familiar with their vehicle, the diagrams can assist in many ways, although there are/is no Part Numbers. A description is listed of the various sections such as for engine 01 is valve clearance, 70 is cylinder head and so on. Again, no Part Numbers, just labor codes to correspond with whatever part or section is being repaired to represent some moment of time Volkswagen considered ample to complete the repair! In Blue 3 ring binder with the word Volkswagen on front, back is blank, just Blue. The 3 rings close upon each other nicely, not rusted away, rather shiny chrome. Binder spine pulled away slightly at two ends, about 1 inch, and about ½ inch, not structurally a problem. Many duplicate pages, as when a new update was incorporated, the librarian annotated the old one with “Void” and drew lines through some words. This is a used manual, and well kept up and Appears well up to date. One page pulled through binder rings, repaired same. Measurements approximately: 11 & 7/16 inches long, 10 & ½ inches wide, at spine 2 & 12/32 inches, at lip slightly over 1 inch, lots of pages! Ensure application.
