Here we have a 1986 Volkswagen Caribe GT. In Mexico this car was sold until the 1987 model year while 1984 was the last year it was sold in the US.
Under the hood is a 1.8L 4 cylinder engine. Mexico did not sell the GTI because the engine did not have fuel injection.
This is a well taken care of car.
From the factory for Mexican Caribe GT came with front Recaro bucket seats. It appears they have been replaced by these seats.
The seats look a little worn, which to me is a good thing. That means the car is being used and not parked with any kind of problem.
The car comes with its original invoice as its ownership document so you can see everything the car came with from the factory.
Power windows have been retro fitted to the car.
The wheels and tires are new.
The paint is original which shows how well the car has been cared for.
