VW 1302 LS sunroof, original and unrestored!
What a gem of a VW Beetle! This classic car is still completely original and has never been restored. The interior still looks beautifully tight and pristine, a rare find nowadays. You could consider restoring it, but remember, a car is only original once.
This Beetle was originally delivered in Germany and still comes with its German papers. The odometer shows just 5600 km, and the oil change records also indicate a mileage under 5000 km. It almost seems believable! The inner fenders are still in their original, stunning red color and have never been treated with undercoating. Inside, the car is like new, and on the outside, aside from a few minor scratches, it’s also in excellent condition. The right front fender has been repainted at some point, but other than that, this Beetle is in untouched, original condition.
For the sake of convenience, let’s assume it has driven 105,000 km, but it most likely hasn’t done much more than that. The color is a gorgeous deep red shade, officially L31H Iberian Red, and it looks fantastic in the sun.
As for documentation, everything is included: the original owner’s manual and even old inspection reports. This Beetle was ordered with a steel sunroof, which still works perfectly, and it has an original Blaupunkt radio, a nice touch.
If you’re looking for a car that can certainly last another 50 years, this might be the perfect Beetle for you. As mentioned, restoring it is always an option, but it will never match the originality of this one. If you’d like the underside to be in pristine condition, we can also have it ice-blasted so it looks like new again. We can take care of that for you!
