As I live in Mexico I have access to all the special Mexican Spec cars they made. If this one isn't for you I can find you one you will love.
Here we have a seldom seen car.
This is a 1988 Mexican Spec Volkswagen Corsar. In the US this car was known as the Quantum.
Under the hood is a 1.8L inline 4 cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed manual transmission.
The Quantum used a 2.2L inline 5 cylinder engine borrowed from the Audi, but that engine was not available in Mexico.
The interior and paint are original and in good condition still.
It is riding on its original wheels as well.
The biggest difference, you might notice, is the European headlights used on the Mexican car. These headlights were not allowed in the US.
Being the paint is original it is obvious the car was never involved in an accident.
The car comes with its original invoice as its ownership document so you can see its total ownership history.
If you are a fan of liquid cooled Volkswagens you will not find a cleaner example of a big Volkswagen sedan.
The vehicle delivered to the Nogales border will be $6,950 dollars. This includes delivery to the Nogales Arizona border from Southern Mexico.
