Super Heavy Duty Trailer hitch, fits Bug/Ghia/Thin Price: 350
|
A Super Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch made from 1/4 inch steel. Includes longer bolts for transmission horns. With transmission plate installed, the rest of the hitch Can be removed till needed (with supplied galvanized bolts). Rearward bar sits on top of the bumper brackets, and can be bolted to them for additional stability. This came off a 62 bug, and was used to tow a 900 lb. Trailer/boat, for years with no problems. Includes the 2 inch multi-piece ball. This is NOT one of those cheap hitches I see that only clamp onto frame horns. In 40 years of Wrenching/owning VWs, I've never seen a hitch even come Close to this bad-boy.
