1984 Vanagon Westfalia Camper New Restore Westy Price: 27900

Newly restored, zero seat miles Westfalia Camper. This restoration, like all, has a story with it, but to start out short this was the biggest project my shop has tackled. Some restores are mechanical, some are cosmetic, but this had both. The things that were in really good shape, like the motor and transmission, besides being freshly serviced and tuned up, were left alone for two reasons. 1. If it's in great shape, you can't "fix" it. 2. It helps keep the sale price reasonable for those who might want a specific set up, like a subaru or diesel conversion, and also the purist who likes the oem set up. Also, a motor swap is a personal thing I would advise being very involved and informed about. It is also a good time to build a relationship with a professional shop that can locally install and warranty the work done.
Optional 15" rims (6, so you'd have 2 spares) available with good General Grabbers installed. Also, if you want a street tire installed on 14" or 15" rims, that too can be arranged (there are some really nice 16" rims also available from different places, if that is your hearts desire, and we would make allowances for such)

Here is a quick vid of the motor running at full temp. Fan cycles on as off properly. No leaks or noises. Will make a cold start vid and show the sensor outputs with my diagnostic module. A healthy and smooth running motor.
