PLEASE read entire description! Very nice, usable, upgraded Manx-Style VW Dune buggy here. WIDE wheels / tires , dual carbs on a 1776 cc engine that really screams!
I do not know for certain, but after researching many old photos and websites, I believe this to be an old 'Sears Rascal' Dune Buggy. It appears to be made with all old (pre-1970) VW donor parts like ball joint front end and original type gauges and blinker pods/ lights , but it does have IRS rear axles / rear end. I do not know how or why it is titled as a 1994, but it is! VIN# is 1102492657

This Buggy has been upgraded with a 1776 cc engine with dual Solex (I think ) carburetors, starts easily and once warm, really screams.
Car has 4 - wheel disc brakes that work great.
Transmission may be a freeway flyer, but I have no proof other than I am just shifting into 4th gear around 50 MPH and it is pretty relaxed at that speed.
I out a new (cable type) fuel level sender in it, but it is sticky and does not always give the correct fuel level on the gauge. Blinkers are operated by a rocker switch on the dash, but work.
100% street legal.
Looks very nice, but paint job is amateurish.

Interior has very new racing seats (comfy!) , and rear bench seat. Instruments work, although fuel guage (cable operated) is finicky / often not reading accurately. Lights all work.
Starts easily and runs really great. Once hot and turned off, there is a small oil drip from what looks like an oil return/ pushrod tube.
I can help arrange transport anywhere in the USA . I have vehicles coming and going for engine conversions here, so ship a lot.
