This trim holds up the head liner and protects the people standing up in a Westfalia Pop top camper in the sun roof area.
It is a White PVC plastic covering with alum clips on the inside to hold tight.
Installation:
You will need to loosen or remove any awning mounts or other things to get the trim all the way around the opening….
Just unroll trim, look inside the trim for the gripper lip, hook the side with the gripper on top over the steel edge.
Hook the edge and roll trim down over the head liner material. Keep working it all the way around the sun roof opening.
It is a tight fitting trim so you will need to use your hand to hammer the trim into final position or a raw hide hammer. Push the trim onto the edge, don't pull it on.
You might will need to use the raw hide hammer handle in the corners to get the proper fit in the corners.
Over lap the final start / stop location. Use a pair of gardening hand shears to trim or clean up the cut edges. Push them back and join them together….
Any marks simply wash off with soap and water…
