What a rare beauty! Looks pretty nice. Too bad its in Bavaria

"Authentic and original down to the last detail." Brave statement, sadly not true.
"Comprehensively restored in the USA about 12 years ago." OK
"Matching numbers (engine and transmission)" OK
"Elegant coloring" What colour? Could be Diamond Grey but looks too saturated. The Diamond Grey I've seen are much paler.

Nicely presented though.

I'm a previous owner.

Feel free to message me direct if you have any specific questions. I know the car inside and out.

The color is Mango (L346). The lighting in the picts make it appear darker than it actually is.

It's also on the Endangered Species poster sitting in front of the vintage gas station. That photo was taken at Kelley Park in San Jose, CA (along with a red oval and white oval cab) that came out back in the 1990s.

Thank you! I appreciate those kind words about the car. A little bit of interior work and you have a really nice car. That is all I would really do to it.

Dunno what your presence is elsewhere, but your photos aren't doing you any favors; crappy shots at bad angles with chain link fence as the background has an oversize impact on potential buyers.

I believe the ad says "One Owner".
That would mean that the current owner is a single person or the car is not jointly owned by the seller and another person or entity.
Thus, a potential buyer will only have to negotiate with one person which is a major benefit.

Ad doesn't state "original " owner but does state 1 owner which usually means the first owner since new. However technically speaking , 1 owner means that its owned by 1 owner presently. Ha HA!

Since there is basically nothing original about the car what does the ownership matter?
I’d rather have a car that’s changed hands 100 times but has been left original.

It says "One owner" but:
Some people list cars as 1-owner or original owner if they just bought it from the original owner.

This is incorrect, even if they never put it in their name (bad idea) so it still has a title history of a single owner.

This is not official, but I googled "single owner" in terms of a used vehicle for sale and this is what came back:

"As the name implies, a one-owner car is a used car that has only been owned by one person. These types of vehicles are technically still used cars."

I've always understood that a one owner car means owned by only one person since new, but I supposed it is confusing terminology, especially if speaking of legal language.

I actually verified with the seller that this car has been owned by the same person since new.

I'm still trying to get my head around why an original owner, would want to make such swingeing changes to their Ghia, and from my point of view, none for the better. Laughing
