Hi Antoine ! Just found out about your new toy ! Looking great ! Drive it like you stole it....
Is this the original 25 hp engine with Riechert and 28s on top or a later 30 horse ?
How does it perform, compared to a more modern 1960s 1200 ?
Asking because I have the same kit and may want to use on my 54 ragtop build ( 30 horse). _________________ Hotrods, Fords, Veedubs and Triumph Twins !

So, some news of the standard
I did put it on the lift:
with 2 goals in mind : adjusting the brakes and changing my fuel lines
The fuel lines on it were old and I wanted "cooper" lines to give it the period proper look so let's work:
Then by changing the line next to the gearbox, I noticed a sh**ty fix of the clutch cable:
So changed the clutch cable. Easier said than done, as I wanted to clean/relube/maintain everything I disassembled and due to the cable brakes..it was a lot somehow I ended up with all brake components out:
But in the end it ended up well (thanks again to Ned Faux for his online Help and support !)
And well, as I was already that far, I decided to take care of the tank. It was the wrong one and was damaged at the opening leading to lot of smell..
So now everything fixed:
Since then it's back on the road and used a lot (it is the most driven car of the family currently ) as I love so much driving it
Next step: enjoying Bad Camberg with it in 3 weeks!
Bests

Your tank hold-down brackets are upside down and rotated 180 degrees, in case that might matter to you. Now, about that front apron.....
Nah, it's still a great car! _________________ "Criticism comes easier than Craftsmanship"

So, in June was so far, I could realise a BIG dream of mine..I had the chance to be part of the Petermax Müller Gedächtnis Rennen. Can't thank enough the organisation team for that, you truly made one man happy
The week started on tuesday evening with a meeting in south Germany, we then toured on wednesday on wonderful roads with some regularity challenges on the way (the Zwitter worked fantastic, gaining me the 3rd place of the group!) until arriving on wednesday evening in Bad Camberg. Thursday was the official Petermax Rennen, which was awesome. Visits, great roads, and more than everything else, a fantastic time with like-minded incredibly nice petrolheads.. a once in a lifetime experience !
Here couple pictures:
And then I had a great time at the Bad Camberg meeting, chatting with a lot of people from all around the world..thanks to all for the great time!

I think a standard zwitter could be a favourite for me. I love a standard split. But the painted oval dash looks even more austere. Perfect |
