We Had an Ice Storm from hell up here, and I always ask the line Crews "where ya from?" one of the Trucks had a team from Southern La. I said No Shit? Ya Know Something about all Our Water up here (Which is Crystal Clear) "Don't Have No Gators In it!!!!!" 16 Days no Power!

Great framework!
From Instructor Training at my former employment:
Tell - tell them what are we going to do/learn/discuss.
Show - demonstrate the issue/action.
Ask - if there are any questions.
Try - walk the students through the process..
Do - Sudents do it on their own.

Reminds me of the advice on how to tell what danger there may be in the waters in Florida: dip your finger in the water and taste it. If the water tastes salty, there are sharks in it. If the water doesn't taste salty, then there are alligators in it.

| When I go fishing, I have alligators constantly taking my bait and swimming off with my catfish noodles. I have had to push them away with a paddle while running crab lines. Just something we deal with in south Louisiana. |

Nope. Still able to use both hands simultaneously on Bourbon St
My guide totally agreed with The Fishing Queens technique but added if you toss them a delicious biscuit you can bring them close in and hang out together

Wasnโt really a demo. I was literally going on a tour of a Louisiana swamp when I read this thread. He just tosses little biscuits to bring the gators closer. He put us next feral hogs, turtles, fish, and all kinds of wildlife. Even my wife had a killer time. If anyone is ever interested, find a guide with a smaller sled boat that only holds a few clients as opposed to boats that hold twenty or more with other peopleโs young loud kids. Iโm holding off on loud, fast, and fun air boat tours until I visit the Everglades in Florida. Iโll need to use the fresh water salt water taste test for that trip
