Is the light damage the entire center section missing? Like that part? Is this like an intentionally funny add that went over my head?

Not a specific whine, but I'm loving all these half finished 25K-50K projects on dollies coming out of the woodwork lately (that are NOT selling and sitting). Finally, some sanity coming back to the bus market. Most seem to have had their fun and are trying to exit the market before it totally implodes. _________________ WANTED:

It's not just a bus thing. I've seen posts of bare XKE FHC shells asking $50k-$60k which is close to what completed cars go for. _________________ -Thom

Many are underwater with what they have "invested" in their vintage vehicles. Reality is sinking in and they are jumping ship. Should have exited a few years ago when everyone was spending the .gov cheese.
I personally never thought buses (all VW's) were worth the kind of crazy money the past 10 or so years. I guess I'm just stuck with them now
If you have the money, right now is a good time to buy; unfortunately, not many seem to be in that position. _________________ WANTED:

Recession is coming, sadly.
To Everett's post about the speedo - I have an NOS one in the box and yes, it has 3 miles on it. Had someone question me on it once and I said, "I imagine they tested it on a workbench to confirm it worked" and they said, "oh yeah, that makes sense". No, duh. |

Ad states " In 1966 and 67 it was only these 2 years that they were made available as a slider door optional feature".
Slider door option was first available in 63/64 model yr.
Missing everything deluxe related .Trim, bumper trim jail bars clock ect;
Not a pop out in the Bus. Front doors have no interior handles. The Home Depot floor mats. Toilette _________________ 1965 Model 251 Deluxe walk thru

That POS was on BAT a couple of months ago; IIRC only made it to $20k.

I hope it does implode! None of these buses are worth what people are paying. I have been into buses since the 80’s when no one even glanced at a 23 window at a show. I just loved them still do but I am not paying anywhere close to what people ask, nor will I sell anything I’ve got. I regret every one I let go. Hoarder maybe, but if the market collapses I’ll still be loving mine restored, modified, basket case, all of them. Then maybe all the sheet metal that has been bought for unfinished projects will be sold cheap. _________________ Looking for anything from Hal Casey Motors out of Hamburg New York, from license plate surrounds to matchbooks.

All of my unfinished bus projects have been sitting for decades, though it will have to be a biblical pullback for me to be underwater, considering their $200-$500 purchase prices. |

Many out there just like you, including myself. Never thought they were worth the crazy money people were asking. It's been stupid since the early 2010's. _________________ WANTED:
