So I wasn't really looking for another bus (still working on a '56 and a '59 bus), however I was given a tip on where there's a DC that's been sitting for at least a couple of decades.
My buddy and I headed out to check it out. A bit of a drive, for sure, and way out into the bush we found it - a '65 double cab sitting in the trees amongst a ton of trash. Under the moss, here's what we found.
Turns out I was too late to make the deal. Oh well, the new owner called me. SOunds like a cool guy who has restored some great hot rods. Sounds like he has a solid plan to save this one (that's good enough for me!)

You're on a roll. Keep up the good work. That 65 is well worth pulling out.
If you decide to sell it to fund the PG/SG, let me know.

Weird. I never see them around, and now I find 3 of them in one year. Like the song says, rescuing "two out of three aint bad." Seems to be a few to rescue here in BC, but the boys in Alberta seem to be finding more though!
