Ok. So here's a few pics:
(The yellow is just foam that the previous owner had glued to the original Vinyl when he had "reupholstered" the seats with the horrific green cloth seen on the seat... )

Can someone reload these pics showing how the pedestal is mounted. I am trying to remount my rear seat pedestal like it was originally.

How long are the carriage bolts for a 1963 seat base? M8 x ???

I've gathered what I think is the correct hardware for the rear seat base for my 1963 DC. The hold downs are identical to fuel tank hold downs except for the hole.
The washers that were on the bus when we got it are DIN 9021 fender washers. I wonder if there is a lock washer or spring washer too?
As was mentioned, the bolts are M8 x 25.
