There was a recent posting about this, and I posted up the template for the adapter plates. I am reposting this to help anyone interested to find it.

Here is the bolt template. It is a PDF file, since emachineshop.com requires you to pay to get a proper STEP file.
Just print the file, measure, and adjust your printer until the dimensioned width of the plate is exactly 7.75 inches and you'll have a correct paper template. The dimensions as listed are : 14.7500 x 7.7500 x 0.2500 "

If you want to have emachineshop make it, here is their proprietary .ems file which you can open in their software and order the part. I used their recommended aluminum, though that may have changed in 11 years.

As I recall, I was a tad off on the torsion beam holes. You might just cut them a mm over the depicted hole size and you should be good. I had to use a rat tail file to fix it, no biggie. |

I would like a set - how much are the plates? |
Cost me about $95 dollars delivered.
It will cost you about the same depending upon shipping.
You also have to supply 18 3/18-16 by 1.25" bolts, 18 nuts, and 32 washers, along with the 8 front beam bolts and washers. |
John thanks for the info........I am cheap, I will have to make my own. I do not have that in my engine test stand. _________________ SOUTHERN INTEGRITY AIRCOOLERS

I'd like those plans. I have some of those jacks I was trying to figure out how to do just what you did. Nice! |

Hate to repeat what others have said but be careful with those. I have that exact HF wheel setup on my little 300lb trailer and I was rolling it down my driveway and it spun on the pivot point and crashed the tongue to the ground. |
That's why I removed the spring pivot pins and mounted the plate to the base with four bolts, four nuts, and eight washers. That sucka' ain't moving.
Oh, and until this Sunday, Harbor Freight has the trailer jacks 50% off.
They are normally $40, I paid $27, and they are now at $20 each.
If you are interested, get two of them, and I'll share the design at the online machine shop so you can make your own.

Post up here if you want the plans, and I'll set up the link. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

Not designed to, but I suggested to Josh that he could crank the bolt down at the wheel axle to lock it. Though if you want to torque on the bus, it would be trivially easy to lower the frame on some jackstands, which would be safest. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

OK,
Went up to Rusthaven to mount the new dolly jacks on the sunroof swivelseat. They fit up very nicely, only had to file two holes to get the bolts into the mount points. I removed the spring folding assembly and put four bolts around the swivel assembly to firm it up.
Here's the results, and yes, the crank handle clears the wheel wells:

I have also buckled a couple of those while attached to car trailers. The higher you go the easier they buckle, fully lowered or just up a bit shouldnt be an issue but I wouldnt use them at full lift. _________________ OGJHC

They were $42 each plus shipping.
Their price for machining steel is much higher than aluminum.
Probably because aluminum uses a computerized router instead of a true cnc milling machine. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS
