Can someone point me to a photo of a Syncro undercarriage?
I've got the idea mine is missing some of the stock protection but I don't even know where to begin to find out. Bentley isn't helping me in this case. |

Might be easier for you to post pics of yours and then we can help you sort it out.
As fas as undercarriage protection, there is really only a rear skid plate protecting the engine and trans (sort of anyway) and two drive line protection bars that runs to the front sub frame which houses and protects the front diff |

There are 4 parts not counting the attachment points. From the rear is an engine guard, 2 forward box steel braces protecting the drive shaft, and a short cross brace between the box tubes near the front of the transmission. They are
sandwiched together at the rear chassis tabs where the transmission bolts to the chassis. The back of the engine cradle shares two engine mount bolts through the engine carrier bar. The front of the box tubes bolt to the front subframe. They have internal sleeves to prevent deforming the box tube as you secure it to the front subframe.
They are a pain in the butt, but really tie the front to the rear adding protection and rigidity. I can see why some have been left off by some flat rate hacks. |

When you guys are saying "missing frame", what specific section of the undercarriage are you looking at? _________________ 87 Syncro Westy EJ25 ("Tardis")

The frame in the picture around the engine and transmission, in my case.
