| I’m replacing the resivor on the master cylinder and the previous owner used orange sealer so it wouldn’t leak. Is there a gasket that goes between the cylinder and the reservoir? Or what is used to make sure it won’t leak. |

| It’s the stock master cylinder on a 1963 dune buggy. The resivor screws to the top of it. |

Mine used a copper sealing washer.....But the stupid plastic body kept leaking at joint of reservoir and base connection, finally went to all billet reservoir.... _________________ “Fear The Government That Wants To Take Your Guns"

The one on my buggy always leaked too. I replaced it with a dual circuit master cylinder with a plastic press on reservoir.
