Restored German Bosch 021905205AB distributor Price: 275.
|
Here's a low mileage 022905025AB bus distributor. It was disassembled and found to have zero wear on any of the bushings or pins. It clearly wasn't run long before being removed from service.
This distributor was fully disassembled, the parts were cleaned spotless in an ultrasonic parts cleaner. The distributor was then reassembled using distributor grease and oil. New Bosch main shaft fiber washers (2) were installed. The mainshaft was then shimmed to spec.
All the external distributor cap clips, screws, drive dog and it's spring were stripped and re bright zinc plated. The screws were gold cadmium coated. The body was cleaned and had all oxidation removed. An excellent used and correct Bosch vacuum canister was mounted. It was checked on my Sun distributor machine and is right in spec. All new tune up parts were installed along with a new shaft o-ring and a new Bosch OEM dust cap. It includes the original VW hold down clamp that's been cleaned and re bright zinc plated.
The distributor was test run on my Sun Distributor machine post restoration and was right in spec.
This distributor looks new and will work like it for decades to come.
This distributor is for- Bay Bus & Pickup 1975-Early 1976 * 1800 (75), 2000 (76) Manual Transmission. It will be a good fit for all manual transmission FI engines.
