Restored 043905205A Bosch autostick distributors Price: 245.
|
These are fully restored German Bosch 043905205A autostick bug distributors. These distributors are fully disassembled. All the parts are cleaned in an industrial parts cleaner and then closely inspected.
The distributors bodies have any oxidation removed. The distributors are then reassembled with Bosch distributor grease and oil. Two new main shaft fiber washers are installed and the drive dogs are shimmed to spec. The external distributor cap clips, the condenser clip, screws and drive dog are stripped and re-bright zinc plated. This protects these steel parts against corrosion for decades to come.
These distributors have new vacuum canisters installed. They also come complete with all new tune up parts mounted. The dwell is set on each distributor and they are ready to bolt in your engine. The distributors and their vacuum canisters are fully checked on my Sun distributor machine to insure they meet Bosch's advance curve specs.
These distributors will last for decades to come w/proper servicing.

These SVDA German Bosch distributors are the distributor to use with an autostick distributor. transmission. Their advance curve is designed for that transmission. It's not a match for the Solex 28 or 30 series carbs as those provide the wrong vacuum signal. These distributors are also not a match for an manual transmission bug. I have manual transmission distributors as well.
Many auto-stick bugs are running the incorrect distributor with the wrong advance curve. Reinstalling the correct distributor that was designed for that transmission, restores the driveability of the VW.
