Restored 131905205 SVA German Bosch distributor Price: 225.00
|
These are 1967 type 2 bus distributors. It will also work with bugs as well running a 30-1 carb. Each distributor is disassembled, inspected and cleaned in an industrial parts cleaner. The distributors are then reassembled (with Bosch distributor grease) while oiling the shaft and bushings. The (2) main shaft fiber washers were replaced. The vacuum canisters are the original and correct "star" Bosch canisters. They hold vacuum perfectly. New points and condensers are installed along with a new cap and rotor. ** dark brown caps are not included** It also has a new shaft o-ring.
These distributors include the correct and restored original VW hold down clamps.
Post restoration, each distributor is tested on my Sun distributor machine.
These distributors are now ready for decades of further use.
These distributors are correct and what was on the 1966 and 1967 buses with the 1500 engine. It will also work fine for any 1500/1600 engines running 28-1 or 30-1 or 30-2 or 30-3 carbs. This distributor is not a match for the 34-3 carbs. It has the wrong vacuum signal. It's identical to the 113 905 205K distributors that were in the 67 bugs.
If you're running an 009 distributor currently, you'll love the improvement in drivability and gas mileage with this vacuum only distributor on your engine.
