Restored Bosch 113905205AH autostick distributor Price: 200.00
|
This is a refurbished and restored Original Bosch DVDA distributor. The distributor was completely disassembled and each part cleaned spotless. This distributor was found to be in excellent condition. No wear on the points cam, pivot plate or advance weights. New fiber washers for the advance weights and a new, correct bakelite advance weights slide plate were installed. During reassembly, both mainshaft fiber washers were installed. The appropriate spots were re-lubricated with Bosch grease or oil. The exterior clips, screws, drive dog and it's spring had their remaining zinc coating stripped off. They were then re bright zinc plated. This distributor is in like new condition inside and out.
This distributor should be matched to a (DVDA) German Solex 34-3 carburetor. It is not a match and will not work with a 30 series carb. Those carbs have the wrong vacuum signal.
This distributor is for Dual port type 1 engine auto stick bugs. These distributors were designed and the advance curve set for auto-stick VW's. They provide excellent throttle response, no off idle flat spots that are famous for 009 distributors (or worse, Chinese distributors) and 34-3 carbs.
The distributor comes complete with all new tune up parts mounted. Cap, rotor, points and condenser. It has an excellent used, tested and correct vacuum canister mounted.
Post restoration, it was tested on my Sun distributor machine. The distributor and vacuum canister were right in spec.
It's now ready for decades of further use.
