Restored German Bosch SVDA distributors new parts Price: 255.
|
These are fully restored German Bosch SVDA distributors. Each distributor is fully disassembled. All the parts are cleaned in an industrial parts cleaner. They are then closely inspected and measured for wear to ensure they are still in spec.
The distributor bodies have any oxidation removed. The distributors are then reassembled with Bosch distributor grease and oil. Two new main shaft fiber washers are installed and the drive dog is shimmed to spec. The external distributor cap clips, the condenser clip, screws and drive dog are stripped and re-bright zinc plated. This protects these steel parts against corrosion for decades to come.
These distributors have new SVDA vacuum canisters mounted. They also come complete with all new tune up parts mounted. The dwell is set and they are ready to bolt in your engine. The distributors and their vacuum canisters are fully checked on my Sun distributor machine.
These distributors will last for decades to come w/proper servicing.
These SVDA German Bosch distributors are the distributor to use with a Solex 34-3 carb or dual carbs with the correct ported vacuum. It's not a match for the Solex 28 or 30 series carbs as those provide the wrong vacuum signal. These distributors are also not a match for an autostick bug. I have autostick distributors as well.
Many dual port VW engines are running mechanical only 009 distributors or worse, the poorly made "new" Chinese SVDA distributors with 34-3 carbs. Those engines experience terrible flat spots and off idle hesitations. These original, restored vacuum and mechanical advance Bosch SVDA distributors cure those issues.
