Introducing a new VW tool from Fritz Custom Products. A budget friendly 6306 specific bearing puller for Swing Axle VWs and Porsche 356s - works on type 1, type 3, Ghia - Split case, Tunnel case and both long and short Splined axles!
This 2 armed puller has ends that are specificly shaped to bite into the 6306 and once engaged cannot slip out - note* you must use the existing factory installed axle spacer as the fulcrum point to function properly (see pictures).
The Forcing Screw end is pointed to fit into the axle end and it swivels- staying centered not walking off and preventing damage to the threads.
The Arms are laser cut from AR500 1/4" Steel Plate the hardest material I could find - its stronger than Chromoly.
To Keep this budget friendly, it only uses 2 arms. I also only deburr the arms and sand lightly on them so they are a little cosmetically challenged from the deeper mill scale pitting and are left raw. You can polish them, oil them or prep and coat them to your liking.
