have any been fitted to a vanagon and been photographed yet, do the center caps fit, or are longer center caps needed.
is a VW'ish logo'd center cap available.

No photography of them on a van just yet, but yes, the center caps fit as they are.
VW is too picky about using its logo. I personally know people who got into legal trouble with VW and it was very ugly for them. VW was ruthless.

| Congrats on this project! Glad to see these becoming available again, especially in 16”! I’ve also always been fond of the SA Sunburst wheels and the SA Carat 2 wheels as well. I think the sharper angles of those suit the Vanagon body lines quite favorably. |

Weight-wise, how do they compare to the Mercedes CLK whees? I’m assuming they’re 16” wheels, right?

They're 16" wheels and weigh 24 lbs. Aren't CLKs in the low teens? Maybe 13-14 lbs?

Thanks, I woke up lazy (that's what a Saturday-long party does to me) and didn't realize that the specs were on the website. 
I'll take your word on the CLK weight, I have them installed in my Syncro and they're super-light.
I truly love the anthracite version of these new wheels, they're a thing of beauty!

Yes, the wheels are 24 lbs, but the Rhein 2.0 also has tested a load rating of over 1900 lbs, compared to a tested 1179 lb load rating for the "CLK" wheels.

I have personally seen 3 CLK wheels with cracks on the inside rim lip, so not from knicking a curb.
Kudos for producing these rims - huge undertaking for a relatively small market; they look great, nice color options - wish you well in this endeavor!
