That little dial that has all the numbers on it to show you how much you need to adjust your timing. Mine broke. I checked with busdepot and they don't have 'em. I don't really know what the realy name for those things is, but I need one so I can do my next service. _________________ 66 Bug

Got mine from Karl a week or so ago. Pictures on Ratwell's site helped me locate the "notch". Once again, thanks to the usual suspects from a very novice Bus pilot. _________________ 1FUNBUG

I will look for more this weekend. I had 5 plastic ones..... all gone.
I have one early metal one but I don't recommend it. It is fine but if you wash your engine, the writing goes away. |

germansupply has a metal one too $16 plus shipping, but if the writing is gonna come off then I don't think I want to pay that for it. I'll see if I can find one at the pick 'n' pull. _________________ 66 Bug

You all know, you do not need a timing scale when your strobe light has retard adjust.
ISO the full scale, you only need the 0° mark. _________________ Stock 1974 US Westy, AW-A 1800cc dual carbs. Twin Falls is my favorite site on the Churchill river in Manitoba. |

| Joel and I should have grabbed the metal scale off that '74 but it was full of trash and we were both rabid over the Taj Mahal bus, that bus was good to us. I really should go back, Ive already made back my investment. |

I found 2 plastic ones today......
Wow..... $16 for a metal one and $19.95 from CIP means I gotta raise my price. I 'gave' away 5 already for $10 each + $2 postage!! |

I would gladly pay $30 for a nice one made out of stainless steel with laser etched markings and an attached fan screen.
Got any of those? |

No, I have not even thought about getting stainless scales made.

I suppose I should come off this one I have still in the plastic wrap. I'm not using it and it seems like you all need it worse than me. Someone send me a PM and for $20 and it's yours- shipped.

Keep it. We'll template it, etch the marks and offer it white-on-black or black-on-white painted or brushed stainless with black lettering and red timing highlights.
