Hey all, I am looking for a picture of the inside of a rear apron. If anybody has removed the complete rear apron below the lid line to make repairs and you have a photo of that, could you please post it? Thank you very much.

Are you looking for pictures of the backside of the apron, i.e. the back of:

or are you looking for pictures of the body if this part above was removed?

I can get you the first one if needed, not the body.

If that was steel, flip it over.

Brian,

Let me know what info you need. I have one or two outers up in the attic that I can dig out on the weekend and get some pics and measurements off.

I didn't take shots of the apron itself, but here are some pictures of the structure underneath.

Something like this?

Note, this doesn't have the air divider that the earlier cars got.
I hope this helps.

Bob, did you just drill out spot welds? That will definitely help.

No. On the car I used a die grinder to cut between the lines that I wanted to remove/save, and on the other one I cut the flap edges on the body side to save the flap edges so I could drill out some spot welds to weld it back on, once I straightened it out (I got it from Russ). There might be some more pics in my Notchback Gallery if you need them. I cut the old one off as it was full of bondo from the PO before I got the car from Neil.
