That is John Slough's bus. He has been showing up to a lot of the local shows in this bus lately. He lives in Redlands.

Danny Gonzales owns this bus. It is a Pacifico logo bus (thread on the Pacifico buses) Danny is a brewer at Campsite Brewing Company in Covina. We camp a lot together. Think he doesn't provide us with his latest batch of beer?!?!

Not sure if this counts but Gabriel Iglesias donated one of his buses to the National Comedy Center in Jamestown, NY. We went to go see it today and Fluffy was there. We had a chance to meet him one on one, he was a very personable individual.

Not a recent sighting, but I just found these pics. From a 90s cross-country road trip (not in a bus, but at least a New Beetle), likely on 90 in Indiana. Small chance it's 55 in Illinois, but I drove back from Michigan the next day to buy a bay middle seat and I don't think it took too long to get there. Anyways, hopefully someone recognizes their green split!

My 24 year old daughter sent me these pictures from today on the 215 freeway near Grand Terrace California. This is maybe 2 miles north of Car Craft in Riverside.

High hinge, innie air vents, flared rear wheel arches, flat deck lid with push button latch, cargo door handle with no indent, all solid windows in the back. Looks Brazilian.
Guessing it’s some Brazilian safaris?
The sliders look odd.
Do they have scraper seals on the outer edges of the frames? Maybe they seal better.

Not sure if I've seen this type of Safaris before.

Above, DadaCheese posted pics of a bus with unusual Safari windows. They are intriguing. Anybody know something about them?

My guess was based on innie vents, outie wheel lip, icepick, and corner windows with narrow hatch on fried egg. |

Guessing Brazil on that one. The luggage bars are in the middle of the rear windows, why would someone go to all that trouble to do it incorrectly? _________________ "OG = Original German" -- TheSamba.com dictionary |

It's easier to tell from the other side because you can see if it's high hinge and/or has a flat cargo door but I would say Yes.
The skylights look weird to me, like they were added.
I'm guessing they installed those jailbars too as they go through the middle of the window. Originals are down lower. _________________ How to Post Photos
