The X-Celerator Speed Wheel Kit #2, a massive improvement over the stock design, provides a new solution to the original obsolete single-lever design. The old design gets twisted and warped from the repeated applied foot pressure at acceleration, so it required a modern permanent fix to solve the problem. As the single lever twists out of alignment, it can also bend the guide rail on the original flat pedal. Problems often ensue, as you may know...
You will get smoother acceleration from the strength in design and added rigidity that comes from the twin lever design which eliminates the stress and dangers of lever failure and replacement. Re-positioning of the stamped twin-lever arm provides a more accurate alignment of the throttle cable into the throttle tube and eliminates stress on the cable and attaching S hook for positive response. You will no longer have to replace this lever or worry about failure during a critical moment of use.
The X-Celerator Speed Wheel is laser cut, stamped, and TIG-welded together to form a strong, rigid precision-made part that really works well. A longer CNC-machined 303 stainless steel pivot pin is part of the kit that serves as a shaft for the twin levers that revolve on it.
You can remove the rear stop tab on the Speed Wheel lever for dual carburetors requiring more travel.
The X-Celerator Speed Wheel Kit #2 w/ Standard Pedal includes:
1. New X-Celerator twin-lever assembly
2. New machined delrin wheel
3. New aluminum flat pedal with rubber pedal pad, made from 6061-T6, with a 6mm shoulder bolt for easy install and removal
4. New Longer CNC-machined stainless steel pivot pin with E-clip.
5. New return spring.
The X-Celerator Speed Wheel Kit #2 w/ Signature Pedal includes:
