Restored Bosch 113905205AJ distributor w/ NOS Can Price: 285.00
|
These German Bosch 113905205AJ distributors are fully disassembled and cleaned spotless. The parts are then measured to ensure they are in spec. New advance weight bakelite washers and (2) new fiber washers were installed on the main shaft and the drive dog play was set to spec. Distributor grease is used during assembly. A new shaft O-ring is installed too. All the original screws, clips and external hardware are stripped of any corrosion and original zinc plating. They are then re bright zinc plated for a like new appearance and decades of corrosion resistance.
A new cap/rotor, points and condenser is installed. Also installed is a NOS German Bosch DVDA vacuum canisters. The points dwell/gap is set on the Sun distributor machine while testing each distributor post restoration.
Each distributor comes with a restored and replated original VW hold down clamp and a new Bosch dust cap.
These distributors are not a match for 28 PICT or 30 PICT carbs. It's a match for 34-3 carbs and manual transmissions. These distributors are not for autostick equipped VW's.
Many dual port VW's are running 34-3 carbs with a mechanical only 009 distributor or worse, the poorly made Chinese distributors. They suffer flat spots or off idle hesitation when accelerating. These vacuum-mechanical advance Bosch distributors cure that.
These distributors are ready for decades of further use.
