Restored German Bosch 043905205H w/NOS canister Price: 285.00
|
These are refurbished and restored Original German Bosch 043905205H DVDA distributors. Each distributor is completely disassembled and each part is cleaned spotless in an industrial parts cleaner. New mainshaft fiber washers are installed and the drive dog is shimmed to spec. The appropriate spots are re-lubricated with Bosch grease or oil. The exterior clips, screws, drive dog and it's spring had their remaining zinc coating stripped off. They were then re bright zinc plated.
This distributor was used on 1975-79 VW's with manual transmissions. It's not a match for an autostick equipped VW.
These distributors provide excellent throttle response, no off idle flat spots that are famous for 009 distributors (or worse, Chinese distributors) and 34-3 carbs.
Each distributor comes complete with all new tune up parts mounted. Cap, rotor, points, dust cap, condenser and NOS German Bosch DVDA vacuum canister.
Post restoration, each distributor is tested on my Sun distributor machine.
It's now ready for decades of further use.
