Restored German Bosch 009 distributors Price: 175.00
|
These are original, restored, German made Bosch 009 distributors. Each distributor is fully disassembled. All the parts are cleaned in an industrial parts cleaner. The parts are then inspected. If the parts pass inspection and are still in spec, the distributors are then reassembled with (2) new fiber washers. The main shafts are shimmed to spec. All the internal parts are re lubricated with distributor grease or oil during assembly.
All the external distributor cap clips, screws, drive dog, points plate and hardware are re bright zinc plated for a like brand new appearance to this distributor and corrosion resistance. I install all new points, condenser, distributor cap, and rotors on these distributors. I also install new shaft o-rings. The distributor body goes through three steps to remove oxidation and stains to bring the original finish back. These distributors are basically brand new and will work like it for decades to come.
These distributors are test run and checked on my Sun distributor machine post restoration to ensure they match Bosch's advance curves. The points/dwell is set and they are ready to bolt in your engine, set the timing and go.
These are the real deal Bosch German made 009's. They are miles ahead in quality vs. the cheap Chinese 009's. They start advancing at 1000 RPM and have a max advance of 21°.
